Welcome to pawsitive Adventures


Hello and welcome to my new blog, my name is Kye and I am disabled I have a amazing helper who is in my life to help me in my everyday life. 

A little about me: I have PTSD,pot syndrome,tic disorder I use my service dog in my everyday life to help me with my disabilities a few task my service dog helps me with in my everyday life are guiding me to a safe place when having a flashback, and paw at me to help ground me and know what's reality and what is not,along with providing something called deep pressure therapy (dpt), this task is use to help lower my heart rate in the event my heart rate spikes . You will learn more about this later on as I will teach you more about service dogs and the laws can't wait to teach you everything you need to know about having and training your own service dog

      welcome to pawsome adventures    todays topic will be on unwanted attention and discrimination,  what is discrimination ? is it legal ?  discrimination is  the unjust or prejudicial treatment of different categories of people, especially on the grounds of ethnicity, age, sex, or disability,  is discrimination legal?  Federal anti- discrimination  laws set minimum national standards all states must comply with; however, states and localities may pass additional laws and regulations that increase protections. Discriminatory treatment  is  only illegal if a person  is  part of a legally defined protected class s what should i do if someone is discriminating against me ? well you should try to educate them on the laws such as the American's with disabilities act also know as the a.d.a law which protects people with disabilities as well as people with service animals . unwanted attention...
